Despite Slick's muscles to spare and speed to match, neither was any match for the muscles, speed, and expertise of the Champ. It didn't last long. After the tie up, Ellis threw Slick over the top rope onto the floor, then rolled him in and hit the patented reverse DDT but then a knee drop instead of the usual splash off the top rope for the pin, 1,2,3. Legal. The audience was sure the knee landed on Slick's throat. Robbie Ellis ays no, and the ref let it pass. Was he paid off? |
